Directory of UK Mobile Phone numbers
Maybe you have heard about this but early next week all UK mobiles will be on a directory which will mean that anyone will be able to access the numbers. It is easy to unsubscribe but it must be done before the beginning of next week to make sure that you are ex directory and you may want to suggest it to all your friends and family who have UK mobiles or they could be swamped by unsolicited messages and calls. Removal is recommended by the BBC - see link below.

The Directory of Mobile Phone numbers goes live next week.
All numbers including those belonging to children will be open to cold calling and the general abuse that less scrupulous telesales people subject us too.
To remove your number go here. (you need your mobile phone with you to do this, they text you a code)

When on the site, click "Home" then "Ex-directory" this will remove you from the directory.

Already knew about this and opted out.
I don't see why my personal phone number should be logged on a national database by default without my consent.

Indeed, Derrick. It would appear that to families such as these, a white bum is better than a black doctor and ironically, this actually makes whites the most liberal and open-minded when it comes to interracial relations with blacks.
That's true, but Hollywood beats Bollywood in diversity of looks. Other than Bipasha Basu, what other dark-skinned actresses are there in Bollywood?
After seeing "Mississippi Masala," and other movies like "Hitch," you would think in 2010 that IR relationships with black men wouldn't THAT taboo. I mean, I could understand if some Asian or other non-black families would be upset if their daughter…
