First of all what is this chick doing getting drunk like that? Pakistan and other islamic countries treat women worse than cattle in their countries,so when women go out to other countries they don't know how to handle that freedom and they go crazy…

" nDn, If Lil Missy is so correct, the people were wrong to even be in Dubai in the first place. There is an excuse because of this "religious culture". Can't people want to support their culture from a western perspective and walk out unscathed or…

Religious culture? How far apart is that from religion itself? No far lil missy! Much like how Israelites have their religious culture, their laws and beliefs and take that out on the neighbors near Gaza territory. nDn, If Lil Missy is so correct, t…

Wow... what an statement! Absolutely agree lil missy... There is Religion and then there is religious Culture. Can u imagine, just about 100 yrs. back, women here in the US couldn't wear a short skirt or just about 300-400 yrs. ago men/women would…

I disagree. This incident is an example of culture issues and less to do with religion.

Exactly nDn, they seem to have forgotten about the objective situation for something that has absolutely nothing to do with true crime. In todays society we know that sex is a normal human function that has positive and negative results depending on…

I agree on this with Stage.. But I guess, they problem seems to stem from the fact that, they were found out by the authorities on the scene and the waiter was raping her. Otherwise, I don't think its a big matter in Dubai as long as it happens ind…

Rising Phoenix

Rising Phoenix
--------------
Up from the ground and away
arose the caw
from the depths and iniquitous cracks,
hauling all ahead now behind
amidst laughing trials, will it call in time
engulfing the night mid flight,
Booming bright, from mute emptiness
to blaring light.

No longer a name,
no longer prey
sculpted from desire
and bridled bane

vindication is for hire
and possessed, this yoke
sliding from the shell
here he is, unleashing hell .

Charred remnants left
and October wakes to look arou… Continue

STAGE

In a river of lust

In the river you swam,
that rubbed your thighs, hugged and would ride,
soon you would sigh,
sinking in the sudden rush.

The water turned red and you blush for the sunrise on an amorphic bed
in wetted ecstacy, your prideful chastity floats on.....undone...
....I've won.
and halted to peer and you kissed the current,
To reveal how the waters arrest your clothes,
and melds you with ripples, from white to transparent
before my eyes, I paddled on beside
elated by your smile.

Then silence....

Layin… Continue

A new poem titled,"The Fallen King",dedicated to Michael Jackson. R.I.P

The Fallen King

He stood in the light, burning
gleaming and streaming,
from the brim of the stadium limits.
Scepter in hand, and a voice of peace,
resonating beyond...a shut ear.
But we'd see

Echoing through dimensions, spiritual and electric.
He reached..and drew tears
oozing from a common grove. Now claiming a salty ocean,
Trickling from the vibrations of a king. The king
of hearts, of song, of dance...whom walks tonight
in sentimental tombs, amongst stellar heights
Gliding the galaxi… Continue

You speak, I sketch

You speak, I sketch.

Wandered off, pen in hand
Pondering lives off straight lines,
Enriching monotone backdrops,
And saturating fault lines.

Digging for wealth from astounding mines
Ridding time, stroking the sublime
To and fro, up and down
This candy coat, loved dipped vine

…and lies, those fun with trials.
Splattering elegance, and
fine misery knots.

Scratching boards,
with those careless moans.
Erasing mistakes winter must compose.
To spring, comes curiosity all in one page, mashin… Continue

The Flower To Be Adored (Do You Want Love?)

The Flower To Be Adored (Do you want love?)

Pedals collapse before the daylight hours,

In accord, to a pied piper bouncing gaily.

Glancing after the blossom comes the picker, A picker am I and I must adore

One that will not fall so idly.

To mothers beat

Pieces dwindle, and wince, only to drift away.

Lightly into the distance, without caring hands

They dream of subsistence. Without lips to whale,

Without eyes to cry, each abducted by the eastern wind.

Through all the fiel… Continue

The Art Institute, alomg with Columbia College of Fine Arts are both hella expensive! I would not consider them unless you have a scholarship.

Hmm..well as for me, I am pretty creative with writing material. A couple years ago, I wanted to write a book and publish it. But I gave that idea up because I don't stick to one thing long enough before I'm bored. I've been taking salsa and ballroom dancing lessons for the past two summers and I would be good if I just stick with it. But, I think my talent will be discovered while I'm in my field...medicine. I've found that I work really well under pressure and I'm good with my hands. Someone in my Med Term class started having seizures and our professor wasn't there at the time. With my reflexes, I just jumped in, told someone to call 911 and began to talk to her calmly, and proceeded to find something to place under her head for cushion, etc. My sis used to have seizures when she was much younger and I remember what my mom had to do..

You should try out for American Idol, if only for the experience. I can believe you are multitalented because most people who are gifted in one area of art, ALWAYS have talent in at least one other area. Go for it! Strengthen your craft!

Indeed, Derrick. It would appear that to families such as these, a white bum is better than a black doctor and ironically, this actually makes whites the most liberal and open-minded when it comes to interracial relations with blacks.

After seeing "Mississippi Masala," and other movies like "Hitch," you would think in 2010 that IR relationships with black men wouldn't THAT taboo. I mean, I could understand if some Asian or other non-black families would be upset if their daughter…
